Three Manufacturing Companies

Enodis Plc has a wide presence in Italy, with three manufacturing Companies and one operative Branch. All the manufacturing activities focus on the production of ice-makers for several purposes and users: from the small independent bar tender to the largest real estate construction site or, in other words, from 10 kilos to 25 tons per day. Besides the ice-makers, the current product range includes other refrigeration equipment, but ice-makers are definitely the largest business.

The manufacturing companies are Frimont S.p.A., located near Milano, CastelMac S.p.A., located Near Venice and Ice Works, located in the riviera of Tuscany. Enodis Companies in the market of ice-makers play the market leader role in each segment of the market. Even if these companies act independently and have their own distribution networks, they all contribute Enodis keeping strongly the leadership in the ice-makers’ market outside the U.S.A.. Almost the whole yearly production of the Italian manufacturing companies is shipped to all areas of the world with the exception of the Americas, which are under the responsibility of the U.S. based companies.

Simag and Barline.

CastelMac S.p.A.
manufactures the equipment sold with the
Icematic and Tecnomac brands.

Ice Works  
is the production site for the
Scotsman-Industrial Line
and Oref brands.
